Essential Umrah Duas

لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ

Labbayk Allahumma labbayk, labbayka la sharika laka labbayk, innal-hamda wan-ni'mata laka wal-mulk, la sharika lak.

Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise, blessings, and sovereignty belong to You. You have no partner. Repeat it often on the way to Makkah — many pilgrims say it between every few breaths — as it is the primary form of remembrance encouraged throughout the journey to the Haram.

حاضر ہوں، اے اللہ! میں حاضر ہوں۔ میں حاضر ہوں، تیرا کوئی شریک نہیں، میں حاضر ہوں۔ بے شک تمام تعریف اور نعمت تیرے ہی لیے ہے اور بادشاہت بھی تیری ہی ہے، تیرا کوئی شریک نہیں۔

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ

Allahumma iftah li abwaba rahmatik.

O Allah, open the doors of Your mercy for me. Many pilgrims pause just inside to make a personal, unscripted dua the moment they catch their first sight of the Kaaba — tradition holds this to be one of the moments a sincere dua is especially likely to be answered.

اے اللہ! میرے لیے اپنی رحمت کے دروازے کھول دے۔

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhaban-nar.

Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. This verse (Quran 2:201) is the most commonly recited line during Tawaf precisely because it is short, memorable, and comprehensive — asking for good in both this life and the next in a single breath.

اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں دنیا میں بھی بھلائی دے اور آخرت میں بھی بھلائی دے، اور ہمیں آگ کے عذاب سے بچا۔

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd, yuhyi wa yumit, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir.

Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. There is no god but Allah alone, without partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise. He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things. Between the takbirs, pilgrims are free to add their own personal dua before beginning the walk to the next hill.

اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، بادشاہت اسی کی ہے اور تعریف اسی کے لیے ہے، وہی زندگی دیتا اور موت دیتا ہے، اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا وَرِزْقًا وَاسِعًا وَشِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ

Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an, wa rizqan wasi'an, wa shifa'an min kulli da'.

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, abundant provision, and healing from every ailment. Zamzam water is available freely throughout the Haram and is often taken home in sealed containers for family who could not travel — its dua is traditionally believed to be answered according to the intention of whoever drinks it.

اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے نفع بخش علم، وسیع رزق اور ہر بیماری سے شفا مانگتا ہوں۔
