What you'll need to apply
- Valid Pakistani passport (validity requirement for the current Hajj cycle confirmed on enquiry)
- NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis) or CNIC for the pilgrim
- Next of kin's CNIC/NICOP copy, with relationship and contact number
- One recent passport-style photograph (blue or white background; for women, head covered with the face visible)
What overseas pilgrims told us
I went for Hajj in 2026 with Travel Ways, with the CEO Muhammad Daud there with us throughout, and it was a lovely experience. Before we left, the TWI team ran us through exactly how to perform Hajj step by step - there are so many different opinions out there, and having that grounding beforehand made the actual days of Hajj so much easier. Our flights were cancelled because of the situation in the region, and TWI helped us travel out earlier and get settled in Azizia - a great location, close to the Jamarat, with unlimited food. In Madinah we were a five-minute walk from Masjid an-Nabawi, in a very nice hotel. I was nervous about the heat, 45 to 47 degrees, but you adjust to it and end up enjoying it. I'd travelled from the UK and was sceptical about going on a Pakistani passport rather than the British-passport route - but our facilities were better than what people going through the UK had, and I'd absolutely recommend this route to anyone who can take it.

Can I book Hajj through Travel Ways International if I live in the UK, USA, or elsewhere abroad?
Yes. Pakistan's official Hajj quota is tied to your Pakistani passport, not your country of residence. We handle your registration, maktab allocation, and on-ground coordination in Makkah and Madinah, wherever in the world you're currently living.
Do I need to fly from Pakistan?
No. You can book your own international flight directly into Jeddah or Madinah from your country of residence. Our team meets you at the airport and takes care of everything from there.
Can I pay from a foreign bank account?
Yes, we accept international payments via secure USD bank transfer. Contact us and we'll send full payment details.
Do I need a separate Hajj visa application?
No - your Hajj visa is issued as part of Pakistan's official government quota once your registration is confirmed.
Can I register with my NICOP instead of a CNIC?
Yes. As an overseas Pakistani you'll typically register with your NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis) rather than a domestic CNIC, alongside your valid Pakistani passport. We'll confirm the exact document list when you enquire.
Will someone train us on how to actually perform Hajj correctly?
Yes. We run a pre-Hajj orientation covering the rituals step by step before the group travels, so pilgrims know what to expect and how to perform Hajj correctly - past overseas Hajjis have told us this made a real difference once the main days began.
What happens if my international flight is delayed or cancelled?
We've handled this before - when a pilgrim's flight was disrupted by regional flight cancellations, our team adjusted the arrival arrangements so their Hajj continued without disruption. Keep us updated on your flight status and we'll help coordinate around it.
Where will I be accommodated in Makkah and Madinah?
Accommodation is arranged as part of your package and confirmed at booking. Overseas pilgrims we've guided in recent years have stayed within walking distance of the Jamarat in Makkah, and close to Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah.
I'm nervous about travelling on a Pakistani passport from abroad - is this legitimate?
Completely. Pakistan's Ministry of Religious Affairs Hajj quota is issued to Pakistani passport holders regardless of where they live.
